8 pm to Midnight

NOTICE: As of 6 pm on August 14, we have decided to go ahead with the event. All activities will go on, with the possible exception of a Sky Tour with Royal Astronomical Society members, which will be dependent on sky conditions.

A pyjama party under the stars! Wear your cozy pyjamas, bring your pillows, blankets, flashlights and lawnchairs, and sit back to enjoy one of the busiest times in the sky during the annual Perseids Meteor Shower. Spread out your blanket or your lawn chair and watch the sky without interruption from city lights. While we wait for dark to fall, there will be family fun activities. Activities are free with regular admission.
