A fun-filled family event. Meet beautiful butterflies from around the world in our Tropical Showhouse. Make bug and butterfly crafts by our Calla Pond, decorate a butterfly cookie, catch some interesting creatures with our nature interpreters, and learn about the wonderful world of butterflies. Dress up as your favorite bug or butterfly and spend a wonderful spring day outdoors with the butterflies at the Garden!

Butterfly Day Activities:
Most activities are free with admission except where indicated.

Tours of the Tropical Showhouse / Butterfly House
Bug and insect catching by the Calla Pond
Butterfly Booth - expert on hand to answer questions, with specimens
Make a butterfly kite
Paint a pet rock bug
Make your own bug antennae
Face painting - $2+tax
Decorate a butterfly cookie - $1+tax

Event goes rain or shine – craft activities will be moved indoors if it rains. 

Garden Season Pass Holders and Friends of the Garden Members get free admission for this event.
